Cute Christmas Crafts and Decor From The Book Creatively Christmas

One of the biggest joys of my life was writing and publishing my book Creatively Christmas. I can’t tell you how much I enjoyed creating all of the projects and crafty ideas and I wanted to share a few of them with you here. I love that it still sells at the holidays, and I was honored when  it hit #1 as a best seller on Amazon! This book includes projects for not only a handmade holiday, but all of the templates and patterns to create the projects! The second half of the book is about Christmas decorating inspiration and includes amazing homes decorated for the holidays.

I wanted to share a few of my very favorite projects from my book,Creatively Christmas: Inspired Yuletide Décor. These are projects that not only have a timeless quality, but are fun to create!

Several small, square DIY gold antiqued glass jars with gold trim are arranged on a surface, one holding a green twig. Silver jingle bells are scattered nearby.

such as these antiqued gold bottles. You can take any old, recycled glass bottle and create something beautiful for greenery on. mantel or shelf.

Upcycled ceramic thrift store Santas of Santa Claus and St. Nicholas are arranged on a burlap surface, with a silver ornament and a small pine tree in the background.

I love these fun  Thrift store Santa makeovers. Sometimes old ceramic Santa’s can look a little rough. This is a great way to create not only a collection but a brand new heirloom.

A small toy deer stands on fake snow before a cone-shaped Christmas tree adorned with white pom-poms and silver beads, capturing the festive spirit found in holiday book Creatively Christmas.

And who doesn’t love a good pom pom project?! Super cute pom pom and jingle bell trees are not only adorable, but stack inside one another for storage from Christmas to Christmas!

A fabric wall hanging with a mistletoe design is displayed above a dresser with stacked books, including the holiday book Creatively Christmas, a plant under a glass cloche, and gold ornaments.

If you love felt Christmas ornaments and projects,  this felt botanical chart is the perfect project! It’s pretty and can be rolled away to pull out year after year!

Three handcrafted clay mushroom ornaments with red caps and white spots, accented with gold glitter on the stems, bring a whimsical touch inspired by the holiday book Creatively Christmas, displayed beautifully on a flat surface.

These fun holiday mushrooms are actually my next favorite project! I know mushrooms were trending last year, but they are definitely timeless!

A canvas mail bag filled with pine branches, berries, and pinecones hangs on a blue front door, with a "Santa" envelope attached—one of the Creatively Christmas Book decorating ideas perfect for welcoming the festive season.

This North Pole Santa bag uses an image transfer technique and turned out so cute! this project was actually featured in this Decembers Country Sampler magazine Christmas edition!

A white mug with a red letter "J" filled with hot chocolate, topped with marshmallows and a candy cane, sits beside a chocolate-covered cookie—just like something you'd spot on WGN Midday Fix Channel 9. Two mugs labeled "O" and "Y" are in the background.

These cross stitch-inspired mugs I demonstrated on my first  appearance at our local news station. They are easy to make and an adorable way to sip your hot cocoa or to give as a gift!

A green chair with holiday gifts and the book Creatively Christmas sits in front of a wall decorated with colorful yarn garlands and a small decorative reindeer on a wood floor.

This project was featured by Midwest Living magazine! And I was so honored to be invited to beautiful homes for the holidays as well to featured in my book such as this lodge-style home.

A living room with a stone fireplace, deer head mount with wreath, decorated Christmas tree, and baskets of pinecones and logs—like a scene from the holiday book Creatively Christmas.

all unique in their own way, but amazing and joyful. I love how the homeowner of this home (a converted polo pony barn) uses a vintage workbench in her home.,

A rustic wooden table displays pine branches, apples, an antique tool, and pinecones; shelves below hold books, baskets, and decorative crows. Text overlay: "Creatively Christmas Book Decorating Ideas by Jennifer Rizzo.

And I love the styling of the ice skates on top of the armoire.

A cozy Christmas-themed living room with a beige armchair, a cushion basket, a tufted ottoman, and a rustic cabinet decorated with festive bells and snowflakes. Perfect for reading your favorite Christmas book. "Creatively Christmas" by Jennifer Rizzo.

A bulldog sits on an armchair next to a decorated Christmas tree with gold ornaments and lights. Text reads "Creatively Christmas by Jennifer Rizzo," featuring inspiring decorating ideas from the Creatively Christmas Book.

And of course I’ll take all of the homeowners cute puppies at the holidays too!
